Hotel description
The hotel opened in June 2005 and is laid in a building of the end of the XIX century. The facade of its building is of typical madrid style. The hotel Catalonia Centro is very centrally located, in the heart of the Salamance Quarter, the best commercial and business area of the city. Its 88 modern and fully equipped rooms offer all comfort, such as TV satelite, safe, telephone...and marble bathrooms with japanese style. The hotel also offers a Coffee-bar, and a room to held your meetings. |

If this is your first time in Madrid or if you would like to visit the most important sites of the city again, you can start your route in the Museo del Prado. Afterwards, if you feel like going for a walk, why not go to Parque del Retiro, a large pastoral and romantic garden. Later on, Plaza Mayor and its surroundings will provide visitors with a vast choice of restaurants and bars. On the second day you could go to Toledo, less than a 1-hour drive from Madrid. Toledo is a Medieval city with synagogues, mosques and monasteries as well as the Alcázar, the Cathedral or the house of the famous painter El Greco. |
